What changed at the domaine in 2023
Lecaillon was previously head winemaker at Domaine de la Vougeraie and then at Armand Heitz. From 2023 the domaine moved to natural yeasts and began ageing in Stockinger foudres and amphoras.
Organic since 2011
The estate is family-run and based in Échevronne, a village at the junction of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. Laurent Féry, of the fourth generation, has led it since 2022. All of its vines have been certified organic since 2011.
Jean-Louis Féry took over the estate in 1988 and expanded it through the 1990s with investment and vineyard purchases. The domaine farms 33 ha across twenty-five appellations in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Vineyards in Givry were bought by the domaine in 2021, and Jacob family vineyards returned to the domaine in 2022-2023.
Beyond Monthélie, the estate holds 1.16 ha in Meursault and 0.69 ha in Puligny-Montrachet, so its Burgundy range spans several Côte de Beaune villages.
