The estate and the 2022 bottling
Domaine Jean Féry is a family-run Burgundy estate based in the village of Échevronne, at the junction of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. Laurent Féry, of the fourth generation, has run it since 2022. Its vineyards total 32 hectares in all. All of them have been certified organic since 2011. The domaine offers tastings and direct sales at Échevronne, by appointment only.
François Lecaillon, formerly head winemaker at Domaine de la Vougeraie and then at Armand Heitz, is the domaine’s winemaker. He oversaw the bottling of the 2022 vintage wines. Across the domaine’s wines, new oak averages 25%.
