The Cathiard family and Vosne-Romanée

Alfred Cathiard bought his first plot in Vosne-Romanée in 1930. His son André was the first in the family to bottle and sell the domaine’s wine, and Sylvain Cathiard took over in 1995 and headed the domaine until 2011, when his son Sébastien took over management. The domaine sits in the Côte de Nuits area of Burgundy.
