The estate’s 5.29 ha of Romanée-Saint-Vivant

Romanée-Saint-Vivant is a separate grand cru appellation for still red wines, first recognised by the decree of 11 September 1936, and its area lies in the commune of Vosne-Romanée. The estate holds about 5.29 ha of it. Unlike Romanée-Conti and La Tâche, it is not a monopole: other growers own parts of the appellation.

The estate’s partners bought the Marey-Monge portion in September 1988, after it had been leased to the estate in 1966 by Mlle Marey-Monge.
