ROBERT PARKER ” Moderate ruby colour – much more fleshy looking than Chambertin Grand Cru. The nose is beautifully: sweet, fleshy Pinot Noir, quite feminine with incredible purity. A little melted chocolate but still primary fruits. The palate has stunning balance with great nervosity. Very silky tannins, lighter than Chambertin, which has more black fruits rather than red. This is so sophisticated and elegant. Give it 5-8 years to develop unless you enjoy that primary Pinot Noir taste at its very best. Tasted July 2003. “
