Mongeard-Mugneret: a Vosne-Romanée house with 3 ha in the Côte de Beaune

Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret is based at 16 rue de la Fontaine in Vosne-Romanée, in the Côte de Nuits. The estate holds Grand Cru parcels in Richebourg, Grands Échezeaux, Échezeaux and Clos de Vougeot. Vincent Mongeard leads it, and his grandson Maxence has recently joined. The estate farms 30 ha across 37 appellations. Of that surface, about 3 ha, roughly 10%, lie in the Côte de Beaune, including parcels in Beaune and Savigny-lès-Beaune, which is why a Pernand-Vergelesses Premier Cru appears in the estate’s range. The Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret label name dates from 1945, the year Jean Mongeard took over the estate at age 16.
