Two houses use the Leroy name
Domaine Leroy is an estate in Vosne-Romanée founded by Lalou Bize-Leroy in 1988, when she bought Domaine Charles Noëllat. Maison Leroy is a separate négociant house in Auxey-Duresses that bottles wines bought from other growers.
Domaine Leroy farms about 22 ha of vines, with grand cru plots in Richebourg, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Chambertin, Musigny, Clos de Vougeot, Clos de la Roche and Corton-Charlemagne. Its average yields are about 16 hl/ha with a limit of four bunches per vine, and the estate farms biodynamically under ECOCERT certification. Maison Leroy was founded in the 19th century by François Leroy.

The Côte de Nuits and its grand crus
The Côte de Nuits has six communes with grand cru vineyards; in Gevrey-Chambertin they include Chambertin and Chambertin-Clos de Bèze. The Côte de Nuits belongs to the wider Burgundy region.
