Henry-Frédéric Roch, Prémeaux and the DRC link

Henry-Frédéric Roch created the domaine in 1988 and in 1992 became co-director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The estate is based in Prémeaux, in the Côte de Nuits. Roch died on 17 November 2018. Yannick Champ joined as a trainee in 2002 and became co-manager in 2010.

The estate uses no synthetic product in the vineyard or the cellar and farms biodynamically. It vinifies in whole bunches without added sulphite.
