Christophe Roumier Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2011 0,75L
Domaine Roumier

ROBERT PARKER " Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune. Deeper and more limpid in color that its peers, the Ruchottes-Chambertin 2011 from Christophe Roumier has a modern, more exotic bouquet with small dark cherries, crème de cassis and crushed violet petals. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tension and poise, good depth but very backward and sinewy. There is plenty of matière here, although we will have to wait for the finesse and elegance because it comes across as taciturn at present. This is worth cellaring for 6-8 years. "
