The Estate
Domaine d’Eugénie is the Burgundian jewel in the crown of the Latour family, proprietors of the legendary Château Latour in Pauillac. Established in 2006, the domaine encompasses some of the finest parcels in Vosne-Romanée, including the monopole Clos d’Eugénie. With meticulous organic viticulture, state-of-the-art winemaking facilities, and an uncompromising pursuit of quality, the estate produces wines that rival the greatest names in Burgundy. Small production and selective distribution make these wines exceptionally rare on the market.
Echezeaux Grand Cru – Noble Terroir
Echezeaux is one of the larger Grand Crus in Burgundy, comprising 11 different climats that cover 37 hectares. This diversity creates wines of varying styles, but the finest parcels produce wines of remarkable elegance, complexity, and aging potential.
The terroir combines classic Vosne-Romanée limestone with red clay, producing wines that balance power with finesse. Domaine d’Eugénie’s parcel benefits from excellent exposure and well-drained soils, yielding wines of particular refinement and aromatic complexity.
Through organic viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking, the estate allows the Grand Cru’s nobility to shine through, producing wines of exceptional purity and terroir expression.

The 2017 Vintage
The 2017 vintage in Burgundy produced wines of exceptional quality after spring frosts dramatically reduced yields. The remaining fruit benefited from ideal growing conditions throughout summer, resulting in wines of remarkable concentration, purity, and balance.
For Domaine d’Eugénie, 2017 was a triumph despite the challenges, with low yields producing wines of extraordinary depth and complexity. This Echezeaux captures the vintage’s concentration while maintaining the elegance that defines the estate’s style. Still quite youthful, this wine has decades of evolution ahead.
Tasting Experience
- Visual: Deep ruby-garnet with excellent intensity and a vibrant, youthful rim
