ROBERT PARKER “Picked slightly earlier than the Echezeaux 2010 on 29th and 30th September, the Grands Echezeaux is a turn volte-face from its “little brother”. It is much deeper and more expansive on the nose with layers of pure Morello, raspberry, game and an intriguing slight musky scent. As usual at this nascent stage it is deceptively understated, but it blossoms in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied but patently has more weight and dimension than the Echezeaux, the tannins a little grippier. There is a citric thread on the entry that is embroidered through this wine, keeping it supremely well focused and highlighting the wonderful structure and symmetry on the finish. This is a beautiful Grands Echezeaux: fresh, complex and true to its terroir. Total production is 903 cases. Tasted January 2013. “

Exceptional Burgundian Mastery
From the revered vineyards of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, the Grands-Échézeaux Grand Cru 2010 stands as an exceptional testament to Burgundian mastery. Harvested during an iconic vintage year, this wine embodies a rare expression of terroir, offering discerning collectors an exclusive opportunity to acquire an investment-grade Burgundy celebrated for its historical prestige and limited availability in 0.75L bottles.
Impeccable Craftsmanship
Crafted with meticulous vineyard management and traditional whole-cluster fermentation, the 2010 Grands-Echézeaux showcases impeccable craftsmanship. Sourced exclusively from Grenache grapes grown on rich limestone soils, this Grand Cru benefits from natural acidity and minerality that enhance its aging potential.
Compared to other Burgundy offerings, its depth and balance firmly establish its desirability among connoisseurs and collectors alike, promising both immediate enjoyment and significant portfolio value.

Prestigious Wine Legacy
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is synonymous with Bordeaux’s most prestigious wine legacy, commanding fierce demand due to its stringent production limits and impeccable quality control. With only a fraction of the vintage extant, this 2010 release remains scarce on the secondary market.
This scarcity ensures strong collector interest and reinforces its status as an investment-grade rarity poised for appreciation.
Extraordinary Sensory Experience
Experience an alluring bouquet of black cherry, violet, and subtle earth tones. On the palate, layers of ripe red fruit meld with hints of spice and a mineral backbone, culminating in a prolonged, elegant finish.
Best served slightly below room temperature at 16-18°C and decanted for an hour, this wine pairs beautifully with fine lamb dishes or truffle-infused cuisines. Optimal storage at 13-15°C with controlled humidity preserves its complex character for decades to come.
