ROBERT PARKER ” Tasted at the Domaine and twice in London. The Chambertin is slightly reductive on the nose, very backward with faint aromas of oyster shell and limestone. The palate is medium-bodied with once again, extremely fine tannins, lovely poise, pert red-berried fruits with immense persistency rather than power. A more feminine Chambertin than say the 2005, full of charm and grace. Drink now-2030 Tasted November 2008.  “

Heritage & Collectibility

Domaine Armand Rousseau holds a venerable legacy as one of Burgundy’s most esteemed producers known for consistent quality and expressiveness. The 2007 vintage, produced in limited quantities, reflects this tradition with a virtually unobtainable availability on the secondary market.

Its reputation among collectors is reinforced by historical auction performance and critical acclaim, underscoring substantial investment potential and enduring market demand.

Sensory Profile & Usage

Discover an intricate sensory journey marked by layered aromas of ripe cherries, forest floor, and subtle spice nuances. On the palate, the 2007 Chambertin Grand Cru reveals vibrant raspberry, blackcurrant, and silky tannins culminating in a persistent, elegant finish.

Ideally served at 16-18°C, it pairs exquisitely with fine game dishes, roasted duck, or aged cheeses. To preserve its exceptional qualities, store it horizontally in a cool, humid cellar away from light and vibration for optimal maturation.
