ROBERT PARKER “Tasted at the domaine and at Corney & Barrow. The Echezeaux ’07 has a light, earthy nose; brambly red fruit, a touch of dried orange rind and pomegranate, complemented with tealeaf and some dried blood elements with aeration. The palate displays quite sinewy tannins and with all their 2007s, there is a green, slightly vegetal undercurrent that persists until the sour cherry finish. This will be an agreeable, early drinking Echezeaux. Drink 2011-2018. Tasted November 2009.”
