ROBERT PARKER ” A concentrated, tightly-wound wine, the medium to dark-ruby-colored 2000 Richebourg has a dark berry-laden nose. Powerful and dense, it is highly structured, crammed with black berries, and deep. This firm, backward, medium-bodied offering has loads of edgy tannin that are, at present, dominated by its impressive fruit. Projected maturity: 2005-2012. Concerning the 2000s, Grivot said it was “a superb vintage, one of my finest. The grapes had great ripeness, with sufficient freshness. “
